Been finding it through the blog entries?
Tell you what. Yea. I forgot all about it until the 2nd day of new year!
So this is it.
I am going to write my 2010 New Year's Resolution.
1) Send out all the foreign universities applications as soon as possible. After all, this is a great year for a new chapter of my life (Uni life)
2) Apply for local universities
3) But in the end get into a foreign university
4) Get along well with people around
5) Do well for SAT. Hopefully I will start studying for it
6) Pass my PT
7) Save more to meet my target of having 10k in my bank account by 21
8) Get a scholarship. However, I would definitely prefer private finance or some form of financial aid if I get into a foreign university. They do NOT have bonds.
9) Do well for my last semester. The worst thing is to see my GPA drop drastically in the final semester.
10) Learn to appreciate more for the people around you
11) Get some form of monetary awards when I graduate from SP
12) Join some sort of CCA in university if I got the TIME. I want to contribute to the community. Feels bad for not being involved in any social work for the past few years.
That's it!
I will add in more when I think of anything else.
As you can see, university is really a new and important chapter of my life because I believe that it will greatly decide whether or not you will be able to get a great job or a sucky one. Or will you be able to earn big bucks and enjoy life at the later stage of your life. Of course not forgetting that it's not really the end. You can still change something along the way even if you did not get into the university of your choice. You are the creator of your own life and you can shape them into the way you want.
To sidetrack a little bit, I just spent my New Year's Eve and New Year's Day with Mr Sick. And I m getting sick of him too. What a way to celebrate a brand new year!! On New Year's Eve, I did not exactly went out for countdown. Instead I went to play Left 4 Dead 2 and got giddy after playing awhile. I was not so weak usually but maybe because of Mr Sick, I just can't help but felt like vomiting. Luckily, I did not. If not it would definitely spoil the day!! After the game, went to the Cathay to catch Sherlock Holmes. It was a rather humourous show. It has this good storyline. I would not say it was great but still good and do catch it while it's still showing.
Tata for now...
Oh well. Before I forget, I wish all of you a Happy New Year! Do pursue what you want to do and I trust that you will make the best out of it. All the best for the great year ahead.
