Many told me that I m out of my mind because I have not been a consistent runner and have never tried running such a long distance before. However, I am rather determined to put my best for it. It will be a great achievement for me, myself by outdoing what seems impossible!
Who knows I might even get addicted to marathons and start participating in it again the next year? They told me it is totally addictive!
Standard Chartered run is a big event and I believe I will be able to see many familiar faces there. Ah leng is joining (10km), my brother and cousin are joining (750m), my uncle and auntie are also joining (42km) and I guess there might be even more "Hey, you joined the marathon too?? Which category did you participated in?", sort of talk going on. Hopefully I can make it to the finishing line still intact in a piece. Perhaps I should start training up my stamina for a 5km to 10km jog.
I did remember walking 42km during my 5-days OBS camp 4 years ago and my legs were aching and you just felt that your pair of legs is out of your control. Wobbly feeling. But this time round, I might be a little better off without the big and huge haversack that is 3/4 of my height. I swear you won't be able to see my head but only my pair of sexy legs. It's simply enormous and heavy.
But well, this marathon is worth a try, isn't it?!?

Random: L4D2 is not my thing because I get giddy after playing it for awhile.
(After QL told me she just reached home after playing that.)
