This blog is almost dead...
So in order to keep it alive, here are the many many updates I have, to tell all of you about!
I have finally graduated from SP. It's something which make you have mixed feelings about. Rejoice because will be receiving a diploma. That's the ultimate aim for getting into polytechnic. Isn't it? Down because all your friends will be taking a different path from you.
But currently, I am still waiting for the day to come. GRADUATION CEREMONY is going to be held on 19th May 2010.
I was rather glad and happy with myself for working hard during polytechnic. Afterall, all the hard work has really paid off.
1) Finally gotten a 4.0 for one of the semester in poly. It has always been my dream to do that but will always be pulled away from the target by a module or 2.
2) Graduated with Diploma in Business Information Technology with Merit. Something which I have never hoped to get because many said it was a tough fight.
3) Graduated with a 2nd diploma: Specialist Diploma in Digital Media Creation. I can say I m still not very proficient with animation and 3d modelling but this course really exposed me to something which I never thought I would have learnt. And all thanks to digital audio, which I have taken in this course, I knew how to do recording and editing of sounds which eventually led me to my DIST for FYP.
4) Was rejected to study in Imperial College London. Well, perhaps that would be their lost.
5) Got DIST for FYP. It's something I dare not dream for. I remembered I was rather pessimistic about even getting an A for it at the very beginning. But all the long hours of staying back in school and late nights were worthwhile. I must say, I was rather grateful with all the hard work and effort put in by the whole group. WELL DONE, TEAM!
And something to celebrate: This is the very first time ever lecturers have given all members in a FYP team As and DISTs in my course!!
6) Awarded Certis CISCO award. CASH... Just in handy when I am broke after my Taiwan trip.
7) Accepted by NTU to read Double degree in Business and Computing. Still waiting for acceptance by NUS. Afterall, NUS seems to be a better school. ;D
8) 8D7N Taiwan trip was fun but TIRING!! All thanks to the walking and hiking across Taiwan. For pictures, please visit my facebook.
9) Bought a Nikon D90 DSLR that cost me a bomb. Great camera with lousy photographer. ;(
10) Found a promoter job that will last me for 5 days. Wed to Sun at Vivocity. In the meantime, I guess I will continue learning new programming languages or learn some new skills to enhance my knowledge.
11) Started building Vitruvian Man's puzzle. A 500 piece one. Will post a picture of it here when I m done. It's 20% done.
12) Became a little kiasu and applied for SMU Information Systems too. But if letter from NUS comes, I will take that. ;)
That's all for now. Tata...
PS: The graduation gown which I have loaned looks a little too big and long for me. Some say I totally look like a small kid going up on stage to receive my scroll...
