Celebration at ECP

We went to East Coast Park for the belated birthday celebration of QL. we actually bought a bicycle for her. and i really wonder how did the guys managed to put the bicycle INTO the taxi or maybe ONTO the taxi. its just amazing that they managed to do that.

As the chicken wings were 4kg HEAVY (to me), decided to take a cab there instead and of course with the help of ZP. ZP 'boasted' that it was not heavy at all and he had totally no problem in carrying it from my house to ECP by taking the public transport.... i guess, if we were to take the public transport instead, the wings would have all 'disappeared' by the time we reached ECP.

i thought we were going to be late and decided to make a call to HB. we expected the others to reach there even earlier than us. but... who knows. ZP and me were the 1st to reach there. we walked all the way from the ECP mac thinking that the PIT NO 23 would be somewhere nearby. but... IT'S NOT. haha. soon after we arrived at the destination, HB and the others arrived one group at a time. PRIS was the latest, i suppose. went to the mac to 'steal' a lot of tissue paper. ;)

later we went back to the pit to prepare the cake and set up the candles. we seek refuge nearby the uneven coastline, behind the soil as we were suppose to give QL a surprise. but who knows. somebody's eyes had problem and told us all that she had reached the pit. all of us stood up, later to know that she has not reached the pit and worst still... SHE HAD SAW ALL OF US (or perhaps only tim, who can be easily spoted when wearing a bright orange shirt) we sang happy birthday song. here are the pictures:

oh. i just remembered. i forgotten to take a picture of the present.(bicycle) but nevermind. the bicycle looks like one of the bicycle in the previous ubin post. haha. we also came up with a 'treasure hunt' game for QL to lead her to her present. it's some kind of last minute treasure hunt thing. we did not plan for it. we just thought of the clues while she was finding for it. piew. and she didn't even notice. haha. we also took the time to eat all we can. =x

at first, we gave her a set of keys and asked her to find her present which was in one of the rubbish bin. it's just to trick her. but who knows she actually managed to open one of them. haha. cool..

back to reality. haha. we were asked to present for mediacorp again regarding xin.sg. still thought our holiday was there for us to enjoy. but... having some sort of presentation at their studio the following week. wish us well. almost forget what we had done for the research. =x perhaps reading the WHOLE report again will bring our memories back. haha.

awaiting anxiously for the next outing to SENTOSA and hiking at BUKIT TIMAH hill. whole lots of fun and exercise before school reopens..
