went for the very last lesson for A2.3, german lesson. going to take start deutsch 2 exams next monday. feeling excited and nervous at the same time. hope i can pass. if not i guess that will be the end of my journey to learning my very first foreign language. at least i learnt some culture of it and can understand and read a little. heehee. have not prepared for start deutsch 2 yet....

talking about chalet... went for chalet on monday after my german lessons. it was like already 11 plus nearly 12 midnight and there goes my sister reminding me that after 12, there will be a 50% surcharge. and before she told me, i received a call from my friend telling me that she couldn't get a taxi. (she went late too) so i rushed down to hail a taxi like a mad women. when i reached there, it was already after midnight. and lucky, i got onboard the taxi before it was 12. hee. went to have dinner cum supper at 24 hours mcdonalds.

woke up the next morning (tuesday) at around 1130am. late huh? haha. went for lunch. it was drizzling by the way. took a taxi to pasir ris farmway 1 for prawning and decided to prawn later so we walked our way to farmway 2 where many many shops selling dogs were found. we took very long there because it is a really long walk. went into somewhere near this pet hotel. that shop is selling 2 mini schnauzer. just like my dog. haha. so cute. i want to buy 1 more dog!! we went to many other shops too but none of the other dogs caught my eye. we walked back to farmway 1 for our prawning session and guess what? we really had beginners' luck. we caught our very 1st prawn within 5 minutes. our beginners' luck soon ended and we were sitting there like idiots waiting for the prawn to eat our bait. caught 10 prawns with 3 hours. haha which means in average, we caught like 3 in 1 hour. oh, what a great job!! lucky, there is this really nice guy who did prawning for fun. he gave us all the prawns he had caught. 7 in total. seriously, i did not touched the prawn at all, even when it was on the bait. its so disgusting. live prawns. yucks.

caught a free ride back to downtown east from a total stranger (couple). before we got onto the car, we were like, hey ask the car to stop for us and drive us out of here leh. (road leading to the main road is very far) and they really stopped for us. at first, we thought that they were asking for road directions but it turned out that they wanted to offer us a ride. feeling that they were trustworthy people that would not kidnap us, we decided to hop onto the car and took the free ride. little kids out there, please do not try hitch hiking like we did. it is definitely DANGEROUS. we did not hitch hike totally, we missed the step of putting a thumbs up sign. =x

found out that there are really nice singaporeans around. they are not totally expressionless and cold. they are actually kind and friendly at heart.

the next day was a heavy rainy day. did nothing the whole afternoon due to the rain. played cards the whole day in the room. wasted the whole day actually. and that saves me the trouble of typing too. heehee. =) intended to bbq at night so we preyed hard for the rain to stop by evening. but 天不作美, the rain did not stop eventually and we set our fire under the umbrella in the rain. and even bbq-ed under it. nice chickens and stuffs but no one dared to eat the prawn we caught because their heads were extremely big. guess the prawns did not digest the food they ate. after bbq-ing, we played with the fire. we put leftover butter on the wire gauze and voom, the fire was....

we disposed everything into the big rubbish bin. even the tongs. all were 1 for 1 time us. even the knife which only cost us 50 cents, which is sharp and can cut well. bathed before 1 am because there is this water shutdown at 1am. so unlucky for the whole day... saw this 2 stupid black lizards, what i mean is really black ones, near the air-con unit. they were also making this lizard sound. so disgusting and we ran out of the room to call for SOS. haha. lucky our friends were also having chalet at the other block and we went there to ask for help. ok lame us. and of course they were gone when we return...

thursday morning was also raining really heavy. rain stopped in the mid-noons and we decided to go rollerblading. however, blades from the rental shop was under maintenance and so we did cycling instead. rented for 4 hours at the price of 16 bucks. and we only did 3 hours of cycling and returned the bicycles. too boring. went back and we did a last minute birthday thing for ah leom. haha. chocolate cake. and opps. i just remembered that i have forgotten to pay money. =x drank barcadi and zzzzz. i went to sleep. haha. it was like only 7pm at that time and i woke up at like 1pm that morning. after i have woken up, we packed our stuffs and went home. it was suppose to be a 5D4N chalet but it turned out to be 4D3N because we did not want to wake up early the next morning just for the check out. check out is to be done before 1030am.

was suppose to go out on friday's late afternoon with my friends to the IT fair and didnt turn up in the end. haha was too engrossed it doing my self-upgrading of firmware for my psp. mine was 3.03. the old old old version and heard from my friend that bringing it to the shop for the guy to do would simply cost me 30 bucks. so i decided to save that money and do it myself. although, doing the upgrading myself cost me nothing but it takes up hours. haha. i m a simply noob at the start so i got to go to the forums to read up about the upgrades and information on the different firmware and methods to upgrade it. there is alway this possible risk that the psp might get corrupted and the whole psp would then meet its dooms day. after spending hours, i eventually got my psp console updated to the 3.71 version. my psp is using the custom version instead of the original one so its kind of different in upgrading it. decided not to upgrade to higher version because i don't need to have the extra features and some were saying that try not to upgrade to the 3.90 one.

saved 30 bucks today... =) try doing the upgrading yourself. its kind of fun. even if you are lost, you can refer to youtube. there are videos on it. or you can ask me and i will try to help you if i know. haha. but don't blame me if your psp gets corrupted. =x
