oooo.. i have flown back from korea few days back!!! whee... wish all of you a late merry christmas. although i m not a christian, i do celebrate it. but now i can't even find the christmas tree anywhere in the house. not even a christmas present from 'santa clause' which i happen to know it's my dad. well the trip there was enjoyable but not the most plesant one. because its boring. i don't mean the trip but the people there. anyway there were no jokers in the group so BORING. what about the plane?? hmmm. Singapore airlines is of course the best. everyone has their own tv screen in front of them and there are so many functions just for the chair. it can not only move backwards (i mean lying position) it can also inflate an artifical cushion at your lower back. cool huh?? and if you are not tall enough they have this step at the side of the aisle seat for you to step on. (of course not saying me i can put my bag onto the overhead compartment myself) okay. i m talking crap. those people who have been taking singapore airlines for the past few years would have noticed that. :x i took a bigger plane to korea. has double deck for business class or raffles class people. and i took a smaller plane which has only a single deck. it was just cool. guess what was my ambition when i was little?? i wanted to be an air hostress. its so cool because i can get to travel around the world free. but its risk of getting injuried and taken advantage of is quite high. that's what i read from a book written by a previous air hostress. now my job better be something that could allow me to travel around the world too. or something that has to do with foreigners. its just so cool. haha.

korea hmmm. well learnt some greetings. an nyong ha say yo. (hello/ good morning/ good afternoon/ good night) everything also can. kan sam ha ni da. (thank you) for others i don't really know. haha. the thank you sounds like kan sai hai mei da. read it in chinese it means slash kill but haven't hit. sounds interesting huh? after visiting korea, i found out that samsung and hyundai were actually enourmous organisation. they not only manufacture handphones and cars respectively, but they also do projects for construction, electronic devices such as television, air con and refrigerator, they even produce ships. samsung even owns tourism sites such as those old villages in korea, everland (huge amusement park in korea) and the dong cong chao shop (shop recommended by korea tourism organisation) samsung even manufacture cars last time. cool huh?? what a big organisation. so envious of the chairperson.

i went for skiing too. will post some of the pic here if i can. haha. i even took the chairlift up the slope and came down. the ticket for the chairlift was not cheap at all. it cost us 37000won for a ticket. so my dad bought 2 tickets and my siblings and i shared. it cost about 61 bucks (SGD) anyway skiing was extremely fun. i didnt fell because i couldn't balance or ski but was knocked down by people. there were too many people at that slope at the same time and move from left to right is quite a difficult task. so i just bang into them. haha. o ya the travel agent was called lotte. they not only own that travel agent but they also manufacture chewing gums, cans of drinks and even have a theme park themself. wasn't really entertained by the theme park because there were too many people waiting for the ride. i waited about 15 mins and realise i was in the wrong quene. damn. then i went to the right quene and waited for another 1 and a half hour. for what?? just to take a 1 and a half min ride. -_-'' i was better off than other people. some of my tour mates quened for 2 hours and went into the huanted house. guess what?? they say it sucks. it was not scary at all. haha.

after 6 days at korea, it was time to travel home. we did went to those korean drama series scene too.. places where they filmed the show. not fascinating at all. those places were actually very small. its just the way the camera man captured the scene. cool it made it look as if the place was very big. took sq back. the chief stewardess was not friendly at all. she doesn't even know how to smile. her action were as if she was not very happy serving people. what kind of service is this.. and i saw this chief steward who looked so old. i think older than my parents. and he is still working?? i thought he should be working as a ground staff now. however he is very friendly. a good steward. during meal time, i didn't get what meal i want. they were suppose to have fish and turkey but when its my turn, there were no more turkey. loads of passengers were very unhappy with that. eeeeee the standard drops already. heard from others that they serve foreigners better than their own country's people. eeeeeee. okay, anyway now i m back already. heehee. seaweeds for everyone... if you do see me and i have it with me. =X

home sweet home.. =)
