today, we had a terribly bad band practice.. it's just 4 days before the concert and he is flaring up.. during the previous concert, he flared up even before the band camp but now it was after and some more 4 days before the concert.. sianzz.. SOMEONE cried today.. because he/she was afraid that the section could not perform well next year for the syf.. well, people may say that i am selfish because i will be leaving this year.. but i think that the seniors (sec 4s) should be blamed partially for not teaching the juniors well.. what a shame.. i was scolded numerous times for not playing and teaching the juniors well.. haizzz.. some people say that the sec 4s should just let him scold because we are leaving so he may miss scolding us.. so he is taking this opportunity now to scold us.. haha.. what a funny comment.. the clarinet section was dropped more than 100.. at the end of the practice, some of my juniors still mentioned that they wanted to quit the band or leave the concert.. i was really angry and disappointed in them.. i had taught them so hard and now they just say such a few sentences and want to leave.. i believe they have also put in a lot of effort to come this far.. how could they give up?? perhaps the seniors didn't set a good example.. i really admired the batch 2 years ago.. they were able to perform well, teach the juniors (the current sec 4 batch) well.. they were just flawless.. more people cried after band too.. seriously to all those juniors.. please bring home your instruments TO PRACTICE AND NOT TO SHOW PEOPLE THAT YOU BRING HOME FOR THE SAKE OF SHOWING.. i believe that if you really put in effort, the results will definately be different.. and in order to have an enjoyable and fun practice which you will always longed to have, you will 1st have to ensure that you are able to play more than 50% of the pieces.. well that's what i told someone over the phone who wanted to quit the band.. IF YOU WANT TO WIN, YOU WILL HAVE TO GET ALL YOUR NOTES RIGHT.. and when he test you, if you are able to play them correctly and make him say nothing, THEN YOU ARE CONSIDERED THE REAL WINNER!! i don't think any of you want to be a loser right?? although its too late now to buck up for the concert.. but do put in more effort for syf next year.. well, i hope that i will be able to forget this day.. i am very tired now.. bye..
