i woke up early in the morning today and quickly changed into my school uniform and went off to school with uncle toby's yogurt bar and my bag.. my intention of doing this was not to wake my dad up as he will not allow me to go for band practice.. as i did very badly for my examinations, he expected me to buck up during this june holidays.. however, i will be having the school concert on the 23rd this month.. which means 8 more days away from the concert.. it also meant that i will not be able to play anymore clarinet after the concert as i will have to start to concentrate on my o levels.. last time, i used to think that the band concert is in end of june and is wasting our time as i believed that we should be using this period of time to study.. therefore, i hope that the concert will be able to pass quickly.. however, as this is the last 8 days to concert, i wished that the time could go very very slowly now.. i do not wish to stop playing clarinet at this moment.. i had gone so far (4 years) and once i stop, my playing will definately deteriorate.. so sad right?? but i think we are unable to make the time move slowly nor are we able to turn back the time.. so what i can do now is to cherish these little little time i have now.. therefore i hoped to attend all the practice till the end of the concert.. as fat pig had said, this is already the final lap in the race.. we should put our very best into making this very concert a success.. i do agree that our batch of sec 4s are weaker than the batch 2 years ago.. the batch 2 years ago were very united, very fun-loving, played very well in their instruments and so on.. way better than my batch.. i wonder what will happen to those remaining in the band after my batch had left.. hmm.. i think they are weaker than us by a lot.. especially the 3rd clarinets.. well today practice was quite tiring.. i scolded someone today as they pissed me off.. they said something which i would not like to hear.. i really do not wish to lose my temper over such small matters because that could spoil our 4 years of friendship.. so if you see this, please do not do that again.. fat pig said that the 3rds were playing very softly.. of course it is soft because usually i am the only one playing..
